Martin Chedid is the founder and principal of MC Financial Mgmt. He has been an integral part of the financial services industry for the past 40 years. Prior to becoming the portfolio strategist of MC Financial Management, Inc. Mr. Chedid assisted in the trading and management of over $50 billion in equity, fixed income, options, and mutual funds at Schwab Institutional for six years.

Prior to that, Mr. Chedid's financial investment planning and brokerage background were developed with Fidelity Investments, the nation's largest mutual fund and stock brokerage firm.

With Fidelity Investments, he served for five years as a retail broker and trading supervisor for individual clients, a money manager, and institutional clients. Mr. Chedid is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A.in business finance. 

In investing, Martin adopts a practical, guided approach to managing clients' portfolios, tailored to each client's goals and objectives. It's crucial to eliminate emotions from market decisions in order to build wealth over time. With patience, investment returns will often take care of themselves.

After obtaining his bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, Matthew began his career in finance. 

Working at Fidelity Investments, he gained valuable skills and knowledge as a licensed broker. Matthew was inspired by the relationships he cultivated while working with clients at Fidelity Investments and decided that he could foster even more meaningful and long-standing relationships with clients, serving them as a Financial Planner, which led him to begin studying for his CFP® and join MC Financial Management.

In March of 2025, Matthew obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification and is excited to be able to show his dedication to his profession while serving clients more diligently and skillfully. 

Matthew enjoys serving his local community by volunteering at New Life Community Church, where he serves at the food pantry for those in need and as a leader in the youth ministry. Matthew is an avid hobbyist; he is always ready to try something new. You can find him on weekends playing tennis, golf, disc golf, enjoying board games, or roaming around Colorado, taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery.
